After breakfast Ethan enjoyed choosing his own movie (no 12 Dancing Princesses today!) and watching it uninterrupted as I got Megan and I ready for the day. Ethan picked out his own clothes which these days always includes what he affectionately calls his Jungle Jacket. Once we were all dressed we headed off to the museum. At the museum we met our friends Karen and Lily. Excitedly Ethan and Lily quickly agreed to pose for a picture.

Once
the photo moment was done it was off to explore the museum. First we saw the moose and the big three horned dinosaur skull . Then we danced to the pow wow drums and saw the big tee-pee.
For the big finale we went and visited the T-Rex dinosaur named Megamunch. Although a little apprehensive about the loud 'bitey dinosaur' Ethan didn't want to leave it. He sat on Karen's knee and watched from a distance. Before we left he even ran up and pushed the button that started Megamunch moving!
Just as we were leaving we ran into more friends, Dave and Andrew & Carla, Justin and Brendan. They were on their way to the paleo pit downstairs so we stopped by there to do some more exploring and playing with dinosaurs.
For lunch we picked up Daddy and went to the mall were Ethan choose a cheeseburger and fries. We should have known better as he didn't eat much but since it was his day he got to pick. Next time mommy will get him a sub as he always eats that!
The afternoon was spent lazily at home as it was sooo windy we couldn't go to the park. When dad got home he took Ethan to the swings after supper but it was still too ugly out to go to the big red twirly slide.
Another favorite is bath time and although it might not have been as fun without Sarah, there was certainly more room to stretch out in the tub tonight.
No evening could be complete with out snacks and stories. Finally it was off to bed to dream about another fun day tomorrow.
As luck would have it it snowed the next day so Ethan day turned into Ethan week as we weren't able to go and get Sarah until Friday night. This meant more one on one time with mommy and daddy as well as a new found spot as Megan's caregiver (a role usually taken over by Sarah). Highlighted with trips to dollarama, chucky cheese and the park along with kite flying and baking it was a great week and although he will likely deny this later in life he even admitted to missing his sister.
